house is situated in the pine forest of the national park of Les
Landes, South West France. The fabulous sandy beaches and rolling
surf of the Atlantic Ocean are 35 minutes away, Bordeaux and Biarritz
and just over an hours drive. |

area of Solferino has a historic association with Napoloean III
and his wife Eugine. The Ecomusee de la Grande Lande depicting the
working history of Las Landes is a delightful 10 minute train journey
into the forest from Sabres. |

area is perfect for the holiday maker or sports fanatic alike, and
almost anything can be catered for, whether its walking, cycing
or sailing on the lakes at Biscarosse. For the golfers there are
numerous great golf courses all within an hour from the house, with
at least 4 within 45 minutes. Golfing holidays can be arrange to
suit all playing standards. But if a more leisurely holiday is required
then that is also possible. |

from March onwards, with high temperatures during the summer months. |
